Urban and landscape strategy, master plan for the Chaponval site.
The town of Noisy-le-Roi is located in the Versailles Grand Parc intermunicipality.
This intercommunality is defined as a dynamic territory in a preserved environment. The territory has a strong heritage and landscape value: Versailles Palace, natural and agricultural areas. Projects are currently underway to strengthen the link with the Greater Paris metropolis: an innovative eco-district on the Satory plateau, line 18 of the Grand Paris Express, creation of the multimodal interchange of Versailles Chantier...
The town of Noisy-le-Roi has a qualitative living environment: a privileged living environment between the forest of Marly and the plain of Versailles, an urbanized territory for about a third of its surface area, a low density compared to that of Versailles Grand Parc.
The 28 ha project site (18 ha to be urbanized, 10 ha in a natural area) is located in the west of the commune, accessible from the RD 307 and on the edge of the listed plain of Versailles. The mission entrusted to the landscape architect is to conduct a global reflection on the development of the Chaponval site.
